Thank you for subscribing to The Animal Arkive! By purchasing a monthly or annual subscription, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
 
1. About Your Subscription

The Animal Arkive is a recurring subscription service that delivers curated wildlife education and conservation materials, including Field Files, printed resources, and other themed items. Each edition highlights a different animal species and the conservation efforts helping protect it.
Subscriptions are intended for personal, non-commercial use.
 
2. Subscription Options

The Animal Arkive currently offers:

• Monthly Subscription – billed each month and automatically renews unless canceled.

• Annual Subscription – billed once per year and includes twelve months of shipments and subscriber
  benefits at a discounted annual rate.

Subscription prices are displayed at checkout and may be subject to applicable taxes and shipping charges.
 
3. Automatic Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew using the payment method on file unless canceled before the renewal date.

• Monthly subscriptions renew each month.

• Annual subscriptions renew each year.

You may cancel automatic renewal at any time through your account or by contacting The Animal Arkive before your next renewal date.
 
4. Billing

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize The Animal Arkive to charge your selected payment method for all applicable subscription fees, taxes, and shipping charges.

If payment cannot be processed, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your subscription until payment is successfully received.
 
5. Shipping

The Animal Arkive currently ships within the United States unless otherwise stated.

Estimated shipping dates are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by production schedules, holidays, weather, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Subscribers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Additional shipping charges may apply if an order must be resent due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
 
6. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date.

We will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement shipment or other remedy at our discretion.
 
7. Cancellations

Monthly subscriptions may be canceled at any time. If canceled before the next billing date, future charges will stop, and no additional shipments will be sent beyond any orders already processed.

Annual subscriptions may be canceled at any time before the renewal date.

Cancellation stops the subscription from automatically renewing but does not end the current prepaid subscription. Subscribers will continue receiving shipments and subscriber benefits through the remainder of the paid annual term.
 
8. Refund Policy

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once payment has been processed and monthly orders have entered production or shipping.

Annual subscriptions are prepaid and offered at a discounted rate. Because subscription materials are planned, produced, and reserved in advance, annual subscription payments are generally non-refundable.

Refunds will only be considered in limited circumstances, including:

• Duplicate orders or billing errors.

• We are unable to fulfill the subscription due to circumstances within our control.

• Other situations approved at the sole discretion of The Animal Arkive.

Shipping delays caused by postal carriers, weather, or events outside our control are not eligible for refunds.
 
9. Membership Upgrades and Downgrades

Subscribers may upgrade to a higher membership tier at any time during an active annual subscription.

When upgrading:

• The subscriber will pay the prorated difference between the current membership and the new membership for the remainder of the annual term.

• The original renewal date will remain unchanged.

• Future renewals will occur at the upgraded membership level unless changed or canceled before renewal.

• Additional membership benefits will begin with the next available shipment whenever possible. If an upgrade request is received after monthly shipments have been prepared, upgraded benefits will begin with the following month's shipment.

 
Downgrades are not available during an active annual subscription term.

Subscribers wishing to move to a lower membership level may do so before their renewal date, and the downgrade will take effect upon the next annual renewal.
 
10. Changes to Subscription Plans

The Animal Arkive may modify subscription pricing, membership benefits, product offerings, or shipping schedules from time to time.

Any changes to pricing or membership benefits will apply only to future billing periods and will not affect the remainder of an already-paid subscription term.
 
11. Intellectual Property

All Field Files, illustrations, photography, written content, logos, printable activities, digital downloads, and other materials produced by The Animal Arkive are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Subscription materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
 
12. Educational Content

The Animal Arkive strives to provide accurate, research-based educational information. Wildlife facts, conservation statistics, and organization information are believed to be accurate at the time of publication but may change as new research becomes available.
 
13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Animal Arkive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the purchase or use of a subscription.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the subscription giving rise to the claim.
 
14. Privacy

Customer information is used solely to process orders, provide subscription services, communicate with subscribers, and improve our products and services.
The Animal Arkive does not sell customer personal information.
 
15. Changes to These Terms

The Animal Arkive reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of a subscription after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
